As a former Lampasas High School graduate, I feel privileged to be able to work for Lampasas ISD.  As I begin my fifteenth year in LISD, I am overjoyed to be the principal of Hanna Springs!

 

I am so proud that my children have been educated by the Lampasas school system.  Kaitlyn (19) is a Lampasas High School graduate and Braxton (16) is a 10th grader at LHS.

 

My journey as an educator began when I graduated from Baylor University with my B.S. in Elementary Education in 2001.  I began teaching while pursuing my M.S.E. in Guidance and Counseling at Baylor, which I completed in 2003.   After four and a half years in the elementary classroom and another four and a half years as a K-12 counselor, I completed my Principal Certification.  I was the Hanna Springs assistant principal for nine years and this is my fifth year as principal.  The 2023-2024 school year is my twenty-third year in education, and I absolutely love it!
