As a proud graduate of Lampasas High School, I am honored to serve the community that helped shape who I am today. The 2026-2027 school year marks the beginning of my 26th year in education and my 18th year with Lampasas ISD, all of which have been at Hanna Springs Elementary. It is truly a privilege to continue serving as the principal of this incredible school.

 

Lampasas ISD has been a meaningful part of my family's story. My daughter, Kaitlyn, and my son, Braxton, both began their educational journeys at Hanna Springs and graduated from Lampasas High School. Watching them grow through this district strengthened my appreciation for our schools and deepened my commitment to the students and families we serve each day.

 

My path to becoming an educator began at Baylor University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, followed by a Master of Science in Education with a specialization in Guidance and Counseling. Before coming to Hanna Springs, I served as both a classroom teacher and a school counselor in neighboring districts. I joined the Hanna Springs family as a school counselor, later served as assistant principal, and am now beginning my eighth year as principal. Even after completing 25 years in education, I still love coming to work each day and serving alongside our amazing staff and students.

 

At Hanna Springs, we believe school is more than a place to learn. It is a family. Together, our students, staff, and families create a culture built on strong relationships, high expectations, and a commitment to helping every child succeed. Our mission is simple but powerful: Lead with Love, Learn as a Family, and Empower Everyone. As a Leader in Me campus, we strive to develop leadership, responsibility, and confidence in every student while creating a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
